El Visor – Espai Fotogràfic presents this Introductory Course to Digital Photography, aimed to all people who wish to know the possibilities offered by their camera and go beyond the automatic modes, optimize their equipment’s creative performance, and be able to take better photographs.
The course consists of four theoretical-practical sessions with a duration of three hours each. In them, the students will learn the structure and operation of a photographic camera, the rules of composition most significant to obtain balanced and visually atractive images, the influence of parameters like exposure time and diaphragm aperture on the aspect of photographs, the most appropriate workflow for an optimal management of the photographic files, and the basic procedures to follow in the development and processing of the images.
The sessions are markedly visual, and so they include many images in order to illustrate the concepts explained during the theoretical parts, many of them created specifically for this course.
Consolidation of knowledge through practice is an essential part of this course, and because of this tutorialized exercises will be proposed in all sessions.
