Marta Bretó, photographer and mountain guide, conducts this Night Landscape Photography Workshop where she will teach us how to get around natural environtments whenever we carry out a night photography session.
The workshop is 6 hours long: three hours of theory held in the classroom of El Visor – Espai Fotogràfic, and three practical hours held in a carefully selected location. This locations will vary in the diferent editions of the workshop.
In this workshop we will learn wich are the materials we need and the most useful techniques and guidelines of action depending on the desired results. We will see how the beliefs, the science, and astrophotography have evolved through the history and how we can use historical and current referents in our works. Also, we will learn different techniques and how to resolve problems we can find in a night landscape photography session.
A reflex camera wiht manual mode and bulb option is essential for this workshop. Also, a wired remote controler is recommended for the practical part. If you do not have one, acquiring it before the workshop is advisable. Likewise, a robust tripod and a wide lens objective will be necessary.
